This home is a true delight, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths spread out on three levels with one bedroom on the ground level, two on the main and the top floor has a private suite with an open air porch overlooking the harbor and beautiful sunset color! The back yard has a lovely pool with a 10’ x 15’ side entry consisting of a shallow platform that transitions to broad steps down into the swimming area of the pool which is 10’ x 35′, perfect for mothers with babies or young kids or anyone that wants to enjoy the water and poolside activities without having to be submerged while offering swimming area for exercise or cooling off. Just steps away is an undercover patio with a bar counter and bait freezer, The gas grill is just around the corner as well as the walkway ramp to the dock which offers great protected dockage and a swim or boarding ladder for easy access to the water. A short run through the harbor and out to Sister’s Creek, from there you can go up the creek to Boot Key Harbor and onto the 7 Mile Bridge or you can go south to Sombrero Beach and on out to the Ocean, the reefs and Sombrero Light for great fishing or snorkeling.
The first floor of the home has a private bedroom and bath with patio doors opening to the pool deck. The bath has a travertine marble tiled shower and a separate door opening to the out side to serve as a convenience bath for the pool or dock area. The interior stairs lead up to the main floor. There is an exterior staircase that leads directly to this level and the main front door. This level has a spacious living area with seating for TV entertainment, another area for conversation, a table for card games or puzzles and the dining area overlooking the canal and views. The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep and a breakfast bar that doubles as a serving counter. The master bedroom on this floor has a queen bed and private bath, a second bedroom on this level also has a queen size bed and the hall bath is just steps away. The washer and dryer are located in this bath.
The top floor is all master bedroom with a cozy sitting area, bath with shower, wet bar with a under-counter refrigerator and an open porch overlooking the harbor and the ocean beyond.
Sombrero Beach is just 1.5 miles away and just a few blocks from the house is the bike path that runs to the beach. About a mile in the other direction is US1 where you will find Publix, Winn Dixie and Walgreens to name a few shops in close proximity for convenient shopping.
The home has central AC on all floors and an additional mini split in the dining area. Comcast cable TV and wifi service. A TV in the living area and one in each bedroom. 2 complimentary kayaks available for your use. Good parking, two carports under cover and driveway parking with room for a boat trailer.
Maximum occupancy is 10 including kids and babies. A small pet maybe considered and if approved there is a $150 pet fee.
